AFTERCARE & MAINTENANCE

Once we get your vehicle dialed in, washes become a breeze. There are just a couple techniques and things you will need to maintain your ceramic coating...

• TWO 5 GALLON BUCKETS- This is called the two bucket system. One bucket for wheels and one bucket for paint. Preferably with dirt guards at the bottom of each bucket.

• MICROFIBER MITT- Any soft microfiber mitt will work. One of our favorites is Gtechniq microfiber wash mitt. We recommend 2 mitts. One for wheels and one for paint.

• SOAP- you will need a PH balance soap with no waxes or additives. Our favorites are Reset by CarPro and Gentle Snow Foam by Koch Chemie.

• AIR BLOWER/LEAF BLOWER- After your vehicle is washed since it is so slick you can just blow the water right off! This also helps with not marring the paint. The less you touch it with rags and towels the better.

• DRYING TOWEL- After you blow the vehicle dry just take a microfiber drying towel and wipe all of the drip points(door handles, spoilers, side mirrors). Our favorite drying towel is called the dreadnought.

Before putting water on the vehicle, you want to wash the wheels first. By doing this, there is less chance of water sitting on the vehicle creating water spots. Once the wheels are cleaned, now you can wash the vehicle. You will find that once it’s coated, most of the dirt and debris fall off instantly just with water. Once the vehicle is wet, you lightly wipe all surfaces with your microfiber mitt(make sure you are not using the same mitt that was used to wash wheels) and then rinse. Once the vehicle is rinsed here comes the fun part. Just get your air blower/leaf blower and blow that baby off! After that, take your drying towel and get all of the drip points.

Depending on how much you drive the vehicle and if it is garage kept or not, we suggest washing it at least once a month. If you do a lot of driving and it is kept outside, we suggest bi-weekly washes. This ensures the coating can perform its best. We always say the better you take care of your ceramic coating the better it takes care of you! Also, if possible, try avoid washing the vehicle in the sun.
